It is further enacted that the seven commissioners now in office shall remain and
continue to be commissioners of Snow Hill until the first election under this act,
and until their successors are elected and qualified.

STATE'S ATTORNEY.
1870, c. 350 repeals and re-enacts 1864, c. 94 [Sup. 1861-7, p. 651] as follows:

166. The county commissioners of Worcester county
arc required to allow to, and levy for the use of the
state's attorney for Worcester county, in all cases
which may be hereafter tried by him in said county,
the fees following, to wit: In every case of murder,
arson or rape, twenty dollars; in every case of felony,
other than murder, arson or rape, ten dollars j in every
case of misdemeanor, punishable by confinement in the
penitentiary, five dollars; and in all other misdemean-
ors, three dollars and thirty-three and one-third of a

cent; provided, that this act shall not take effect until
the expiration of the term of the present state's attor-
ney for Worcester county, said fees to be in addition to
the regular appearance fees now allowed by law.

SYNAPUXENT BAY.
1870, c. 190 repeals section 1 of 1868, c. 442, and re-enacts the same to read as follows:

167. If any person or persons shall haul or fish with
any seine or seines over one hundred fathoms in length
in Synapuxent bay or its tributaries, or in any of the
bays or their tributaries, on the eastern side of Wor-
cester county above the line of Virginia, he or they
