vices before
magistrates.

222. For the services tendered by the state's attorney
for Kent county, before committing magistrates in pre-
liminary examinations, the judges of the said circuit
court for Kent county may allow to said state's attor-
ney such compensation, not exceeding the sum of one
hundred and fifty dollars for any one year, as the said
judges shall think just and proper.

Annual account

223. On or before the fifth day of June, in each
year, the state's attorney for Kent county shall make
up and present to the judges of said court, or to one of
said judges, for their inspection and approval, his ac-
count for services rendered during the fiscal year past,
which account, when approved by said judge or judges,
shall be filed with the county commissioners for levy.

Approved and in force April 4, 1870.
