ART. 6. ] CAROLINE COUNTY.

and district No. five, or Federalsburg district, of what
has heretofore been known as district No. four. All

elections for public officers shall be held in district No.
one, as constituted by this section, at Henderson; in
district No. two, at Greensborough; in district No.
three, at Denton; in district No. four, at Harmony,
and in district No. five, at Federalsburg; each and
every one of said election districts shall be entitled to
all the rights, liberties and privileges held, to be held,
or possessed by the other, and this division and re-
numbering of election districts shall not invalidate the
appointment of district officers heretofore appointed
for the districts of said county by their former divi-
sions and numbers, but the same shall be valid and
effectual for said districts by their former division and
numbers, until otherwise provided for by law.

GREENSBOROUGH.

Places of voting

1870, c. 144 repeals sections 98, 99, 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110,
111, 112 and 113 and enacts the following in lieu thereof:

98. The inhabitants of the village of Greensborough,
in Caroline county, are a body corporate by the name
of "The Commissioners of Greensborough, " and by
that name may sue and be sued, may purchase and
hold real, personal and mixed property, or dispose of
the same for the benefit of said village, and may have
and use a common seal, which may be altered at plea-
sure.

99. All property and funds of every kind belonging
to or in possession of the village of Greensborough are
vested in the said corporation, and the said corporation
may receive in trust, and may control for the purpose
of such trusts, all money or other property which may
have been or shall be bestowed upon such corporation
by will, deed, or any other form of gift or conveyance
in trust for any general corporation purpose, or in aid
of the indigent and poor, or for charitable purposes
