sentatives or assigns shall have the right, within two
years after such sale, to redeem any lot so sold, by
paying to the purchaser thereof, the amount of pur-
chase money with interest thereon at the rate of six
per cent, per annum and five per cent, commission
from the day of sale.

Surplus to be

54. In case any lot shall be sold for more than
may be sufficient to satisfy the taxes and other legal
charges thereon, the said commissioners are author-
ized to invest the said surplus in the bonds of the
United States or of the state of Maryland for the
benefit of the legal owner of said lot or his legal
representatives, and in case such owner or his legal
representatives shall not demand the same within
two years after such sale, the said commissioners
are hereby authorized, to expend the same for the
interest, benefit and improvement of said town,
according to their discretion.

ORPHANS' COURT.
1864, c. 245 which amended and re-enacted section 91, is repealed, amended and
re-enacted by 1866, c. 159 as follows:

county shall meet on the first Monday and Tuesday
of each month during the year, if the public business
require it, to which terms all processes shall be made

any one term,

Now—1864, c 245 which provided for the compensation of the judges of the Orphans'
Court is repealed by 1865, c 169 which act repeals all sections of the articles of the Public
Local Laws relating to pay and mileage of the judges of the Orphans' Courts of the State and
