ART. 12. ] HARFORD COUNTY.

phia, and New York, for the same length of time, to
sell by public sale to the highest bidder for cash all
such lots, and the same when sold to transfer by deed
of bargain and sale to the purchaser thereof; the

said bailiff shall within two weeks after making sale
of the lots make return to the board of commission-
ers of the town of Havre-de-Grace of all his pro-
ceedings in relation thereto, and if from the sale of
any lot the bailiff shall receive more money than is
sufficient to satify the taxes and other legal charges
thereon, he shall within two weeks after such sale

1867, c. 37 enacts the following supplement to the above act:

52. The power conferred on the commissioners of
the town of Havre de-Grace by the original act, to
which this is a supplement, is hereby continued, and
in case any of the lots of ground mentioned in said
act and thereby authorized to be sold, have not been
heretofore sold by the bailiff, under the direction of
the said commissioners, it shall be lawful for the said
commissioners, and they are hereby authorized, to
direct the sale thereof in the manner prescribed by
the said original act.
