498 CARROLL COUNTY. [ART. 7.

CIRCUIT COURT.

1865, c. 2 repeals section 7 and re-enacts the same as follows:

1865, C. 2.
Terms.

SEC. 7. The next session of the circuit court for
Carroll county shall commence on the second Mon-
day in May next, instead of the first Monday in April
next, as now provided by law, and all process and
writs original, mesne or judicial, now issued from
said court, purporting to be returnable on the first
Monday in April next, shall be returnable on the
second Monday in May next, and have the same
validity and effect when so returned, as if originally
issued returnable on the second Monday in May next,
and all subsequent sessions of said court, now pre-
scribed by law to commence and be held at West-
minster on the first Monday in April, and the first
Monday in September, in each and every year, shall
commence and be held at Westminster on the second
Monday in May and the second Monday in Novem-
ber, respectively, and all writs and process shall be
made returnable accordingly.

In force from January 15, 1365.

ELECTIONS.

1364, c. 297 enacts as follows :

16. The place of holding elections in Myers' dis-
trict in Carroll county, is hereby changed from the
house of Peter c. Myers, where elections have here-
tofore been held, to any house in Myersville, in said
district, which the judges of election, or a majority
of them may select.

In force March 8, 1864.

1867, c. 32 enacts the following and repeals all laws inconsistent therewith:
