Denton is bounded and described on the plats thereof
recorded in the office of the clerk of the circuit court
in and for Caroline county.

Bounds.

51. The male inhabitants of the town of Denton,
who have resided therein for six months, and twelve
months in the state next preceding the election, shall
on the first Monday of April annually, elect five per-
sons who have resided in said town twelve months
previous to the election, and who at the time are
conducting some business or have a family therein,

and that Henry Blackiston, John c. Fountrain, John
H. Emerson, William M. McMahan and Alexander
B. Glanden, are hereby appointed and made the com-
missioners of said town, until their successors are

missioners, shall be as valid as if they were elected,
and at their first meeting one of said commissioners
shall be elected president of the board.
