484 CAROLINE COUNTY. [ART. 6.

CIRCUIT COURT.

1S66, c. 167 repeals sections 43 and 44 of this article and enacts the following in

lieu thereof:

Terms.

SEC. 43. There shall be four regular law terms of
the circuit court for Caroline county, at Denton, com-
mencing on the second Monday of January, March,
July and the first Monday of October in each year.

Sheriff to re-
turn jurors

44. The sheriff of Caroline county, shall summon
and return to the March and October terms of said
court, according to the requisitions of existing laws,
a panel of persons , qualified according to law, to
. serve as jurors" at the said terms, and the judge of
the circuit court for Caroline county shall have

power and authority to pass all such rules as shall
be necessary to facilitate the transaction of business

Proviso

in said court; provided, however, that such rules
shall provide for the transaction of equity business,
and the said court for equity business shall be con-
sidered to be always open.

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

1864, c. 227 which repealed section 46, relating to pay of commissioners, and
enacted a substitute therefor, is repealed by 1866, c. 134 which repealed all the
sections of the Public Local Laws, relating to pay and mileage of county commis-
sioners. See the act under Public General Laws, Art. XXVIII, County Commis-
sioners.

DENTON.

1866, c. 146 repeals all acts incorporating this town and enacts the following in lieu

thereof: '

50. The citizens of Denton are hereby created a
body corporate by the name of the president and
commissioners of the town of Denton, and by that
name shall be capable of suing and being sued, and
may have and use a common seal which they may
