ALLEGANY COUNTY. [ART. 1.

 

the trial and transaction of all criminal and civil
business, and the sheriff of said county, and the
clerk of said court shall for each term, select from
the inhabitants of said county, forty-eight persons
qualified as jurors under the general laws of the
state, to be summoned by the sheriff to serve as
grand and petit Jurors, the grand Jurors to be
drawn from said panel of forty-eight persons in the
manner prescribed by the general laws of the state.

"When to be
summoned.

110. The jurors for the present January term of
said court, shall be selected and summoned immedi-
ately after the passage of this act, and for each suc-
ceeding term of said court they shall be selected at
least thirty days and summoned at least ten days
prior to such term.

In force from January 24, 1867.

Non.—1867, c 16 repeals 1865, c 11, relating to the drawing and summoning of Juror". See
under Public General Laws, Article L, Juries, 1867, c. 329, which act repeals all laws incon-
sistent therewith.

JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLES.

1862, c. 259 which repealed section 95 and substituted a section therefor, relating
to fees of Constables, is repealed by 1865, c. 67, continued in force by 1867, c. 375.
See these latter arts under Public General Laws, Article XXXVIII, Fees of Officers.
They repeal all Public Local Laws relating to the Fees of Constables.

NATIONAL ROAD.

1867, c. 278 repeals section 107 of this Article, as re-enacted by 1864, c. 64, which
latter act repealed and re-enacted 1862, c. 176, so far as it amended and re-enacted
said section 107:

superintendent of that part of the national road
lying in Maryland, who shall, during his continu-
ance in office, reside in Allegany county, and who
