COUNTY WHARF ON GRAY'S INN CREEK.

Chapter 54 enacts the following:

SEC. 1. The commissioners of Kent county are authorized and
empowered to charge rent or wharfage for the use of the county
wharf, situated on the head waters of Gray's Inn Creek, in said
county.

2. So much of the money received as rent for said wharf as
may be necessary to keep it in good repair shall be applied to
that purpose, and the balance if any, shall belong to the county
and be under the control of the commissioners.

FAIRLEE CREEK.

Chapter 58 enacts the following:

3. The commissioners of Kent county are authorized and
empowered to levy upon the taxable property of said county, a
sum of money not exceeding one thousand dollars for the pur-
pose of improving the navigation of the mouth of Fairlee creek,
in said county; the said money to be expended under the
direction of G. D. S. Handy, William P. Francis and William
Tomlinson.
