the Frederick County Bank, Central Bank of Frederick, the
Farmers and Mechanics' Bank of Frederick County, the Fred-
ericktown Savings Institution, and the Franklin Savings Bank
of Frederick, in the proportions advanced by said Banking In-
stitutions respectively towards paying said sum of two hundred
thousand dollars.

MlDDLETOWN.
Chapter 175 enacts the following:

4. The levy made by the burgess and commissioners of Mid-
dletown, Frederick county, to pay the amount of fifteen hun-
dred dollars assessed upon said town by General Early, in July
eighteen hundred and sixty-four, is hereby legalized, and the
corporate authorities are authorized to collect said tax from the
citizens of the town as all other corporation taxes are collected
by them.

SHERIFF.

Chapter 74 repeals section 310, and enacts the following substitute therefor:

5. The Sheriff of Frederick shall be entitled to fifty cents per
day for boarding each prisoner committed to the county jail.

CIRCUIT COURT.

Chapter 03 amends section 23, as follows:

There shall be three terms of the Circuit Court for Harford
county in each year, commencing respectively on the second
Monday in February, the second Monday in May, and the
second Monday in November.
