in Myersville, in said district, which the judges of election, or
a majority of them may select.

CONSTABLES.

Chapter 352 adds the following Section to take place immediately after Section 21:

7. The several constables in Carroll county may charge and
receive the following fees for such services as are herein speci-
fied : for serving summons in civil suit and return, forty cents;
for serving summons for witness and return, twenty cents; for
scire facias and. return, forty cents; for levying fieri facias and
return, twenty-five cents; for delivering a person committed
over to the jailor, one dollar, and five cents per mile for every
mile he may have to travel after the first five miles.

Passed March 10, 1861.

SHERIFF.

Chapter 351 repeals Section 81, and re-enacts the same as follows, (I. Supplement, 63:)

8. The sheriff of Carroll county shall be entitled to thirty-
seven and a half cents per day, for boarding each prisoner or
person committed to or confined in the jail of said county.
