DEEDS, WILLS, JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS, &c. 91
of a house and lot of land, containing three acres, more or less, situated
in Belle Air, in Kent county, and recorded in Liber J. T. G., number
one, pages four hundred forty-six, four hundred forty-seven and four
hundred and forty-eight, one of the Land Record Books for Kent
county, be and the same is hereby made as valid and effectual in law,
as if the said deed had been acknowledged according to law, and a cer-
tificate of said acknowledgment, duly authenticated, has been duly
recorded with and as a part of said deed; provided, nothing herein
shall prejudice any creditor or person, without notice.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from and
after its passage.
THOMAS W. HOLBROOK.
AN ACT to make valid a deed from William D. Cropper and Rebecca W. Cropper,
his wife, of Accomac county, in the State of Virginia, to Thomas W. Holbrook, of
Somerset county, and to authorize the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Somerset
county, to record the same.
WHEREAS, the said William D. Cropper and Rebecca W. Cropper, his
wife, of Accomac county, in the State of Virginia, executed unto the
said Thomas W. Holbrook, of Somerset county, on the twenty-eighth
day of September, eighteen hundred and sixty, a deed conveying cer-
tain lands lying and being situate in the county last aforesaid; and
whereas, the said deed was not attested as now prescribed and
directed by law: therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the deed executed by William D. Cropper and Rebecca W. Crop-
per, his wife, of Accomac county, Virginia, on the twenty-eighth day of
September, in the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty, to Thomas
W. Holbrook, of Somerset county, be and the same is hereby made
valid to all intents and purposes, as if attested as now prescribed by
law, and that it shall be lawful for the Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Somerset county to receive and record the same.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from and
after its passage.
ROBERT J. JUMP.
AN ACT to make valid the bond of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Caroline county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the bond of Robert J. Jump, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Caro-
line county, executed and approved by the Judge of the said court, on
the twenty-ninth day of November, and recorded on the thirtieth day of
