90 DEEDS, WILLS, JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS, &c.

hundred and forty-one, by Peter Hoffman and Catherine Hoffman to
Sebastian Ramsburg, John Feaster, Senior, Henry Crum, John Stock-
man, Senior, Henry Stockman, Jacob Feaster, Junior, John Hemp and
John Stockman, of John, Consistory of the German Reformed Church
of Jefferson, Frederick county, Maryland, and their successors, be and
is hereby declared valid and effectual to the same extent as if said Con-
sistory had been a body corporate at the time of its execution; and
shall vest a good and valid title to the real estate specified in said deed
in William F. Colliflower, John Feaster, William H. Hershperger,
Henry Cochran, Joseph Rhoderick, Abraham Hemp, William H.
Lakin, Daniel P. Thomas and John Long, Trustees of the German
Reformed Church, of Jefferson, in Frederick county, Maryland, incor-
porated under the laws of this State, and their successors in office.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

JOHN HANNA.

AN ACT to make valid the last will and testament of a certain John Hanna, late of
late of the State of Pennsylvania, deceased.

WHEREAS, a certain John Hanna, late of the State of Pennsylvania,
deceased, did by his last will and testament devise certain real estate,
situated in Cecil county, Maryland, unto his son Benjamin Hanna,
which said will was not executed in conformity with the laws of the
State of Maryland, being attested by only two subscribing witnesses,
and for remedy therefor,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all devises of real estate in the State of Maryland, made by said
testator, in his said will are hereby ratified and made valid, and to have
the same effect in law and equity, as if the said will had been attested
by three subscribing witnesses in conformity to the laws of the State of
Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from, its
passage.

THOMAS H. HARRIS.

AN ACT to make valid a deed from Susan E. B. Yates, formerly Susan E. B. Ether-
ington, to Thomas H. Harris, of Kent county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the deed from Susan E. B. Yates, formerly Susan E. B. Ethering-
ton, to Thomas H. Harris, bearing date the thirteenth day of August,
in the year eighteen hundred and fifty-three, for an undivided moiety
