54 ARTICLE 1.

District No. 7, and running with the lines of said District No. 7 to the
top of Dan's Mountain; thence with the northwest side of the top of said
mountain to and on the west of Miller's Farm; thence down the western
slope of the end of said Dan's Mountain to the water tank on the Western
Maryland Railroad, and then to the nearest point of the Potomac River,
and thence with the meanderings of said Potomac River to the place of
beginning at the southwest corner of District No. 7.

The Board of Election Supervisors of Allegany County shall cause
the poll books of Precinct No. 1 of Election District No. 8 to be so amended
and changed as to take from said Precinct No. 1 the names of all duly
registered voters living within the precinct hereby created, and to have
new poll books made for the said voters, and to appoint clerks and judges
and polling places, and to do all things necessary and requisite to have

elections held in said Precinct No. 3 as are required under the General
Laws of the State of Maryland.

1916, ch. 102.

151. The Board of Election Supervisors in and for Allegany County
shall lay out and divide parts of Districts 6 and 20 in said Allegany
County, to be called District No. 29, said District to be so formed that
there shall not be less than 100 (one hundred) voters at the time of said

division in said District, and the manner and course of their proceeding
in said division shall be as follows: On or before the first day of July,
1916, said Supervisors of Elections shall divide said District as nearly
as may be by metes and bounds, and shall insert a description of said Dis-
trict in two papers of general circulation in said Allegany County once
a week for three successive weeks before the first day of August, 1916,
and on or before the first day of August, 1916, shall file a copy of said
notice and description and the printer's certificate thereto in the Clerk's
Office of the Circuit Court for Allegany County, to be therein recorded
among the Land Records of said County, and the voters residing in said
District shall be entitled to the same rights and privileges as voters in
any other District in said County, and the Board of Election Supervisors
shall appoint such officers of registration and election required in such
District as are necessary under the laws of the State of Maryland.

The Board of Election Supervisors of Allegany County shall cause a
new poll book to be made up for said new District No. 29, by transcribing
the names of the registered voters who are residents of said new District
from the poll books of Districts Nos. 6 and 20, of said Allegany County,
and provide for the registration of new voters in said new District, and
to do all things necessary and requisite to have elections held in said
new District No. 29, as is required under the General Laws of the State
of Maryland.

152. A new election precinct be and the same is hereby created in
Allegany County, to be known as Precinct No. 4, of Election District
