permitted to deteriorate or decay for lack of attention and care, and
for this purpose the said Supervisor shall recommend and make the
repairs required within the appropriations of the Board of Education
made for that purpose.

1924, oh. 588, sec. 6.

904. The Supervisor of school property shall under the supervision of
the County Superintendent of schools, have supervision of all the janitors
of the school buildings and shall prescribe their duties in relation to
same and may remove any janitor at any time for his neglect or failure
to properly attend to the duties assigned him.

905. The said Supervisor of school property shall examine and approve
bills for the construction or repair of school buildings and shall perform
such other duties consistent with the general purpose of this Act as may
be assigned to him by the Board of Education or the County Superin-
tendent of Schools.

906. The salary of said Supervisor shall be fixed by the County Board
of Education at an amount not to exceed two thousand dollars ($2,000.00)
per annum, unless an additional amount shall have the written approval of
the Board of County Commissioners. Said salary shall be payable month-
ly by the Board of Education for Prince George's County and said
Board of Education shall annually include in the budget submitted by
them to the County Commissioners a sufficient sum for said salary in
addition to that required by law for the maintenance of schools, and the
County Commissioners shall include in their annual levy said sum of
money to be paid out of the amount of money levied for school purposes.
The said Supervisor of school property shall be reimbursed for all actual
necessary traveling and other expenses and disbursements incurred or
made by him in the performance of his official duties, within the authori-
zation made by the County Board of Education for this purpose, and no
part of the traveling or personal expenses of the said Supervisor incurred
in the performance of his official duties shall be included or counted as a
part of his annual salary.

907. The position of Supervisor of school property may be discon-
tinued at any time in the discretion of the Board of Education of Prince
George's County for lack of funds or because, in the judgment of said
Board, it is not advisable or beneficial to continue such a position.*

908. The Board of County School Commissioners of Prince George's
County are hereby directed and required to pay to the teachers in the
