an amount sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds and to provide for
the payment of the same at maturity; they shall create a sinking fund by
annual deposits in some bank which shall equal the amount of said bonds
at their maturity, and the sinking fund so created shall not be diverted or
used for any other purpose whatsoever. At no time shall the aggregate
special tax levy for road purposes in any district exceed fifty cents on the
one hundred dollars or seven and one-half per cent, of the assessable prop-
erty in bonds. The amount so received from said special tax levy or the
sale of said bonds shall be credited to said election district and shall be
paid as the apportionment of said election district from the general road
funds is paid under this Act.

887. Each election district of Prince George's County is hereby made
a road district. In each of the said road districts hereby created, there
shall be a road supervisor, who shall have supervision over the actual
working of the roads, and the use of implements and materials and the
repairing of bridges in his road district, except as hereinafter provided.
He shall employ and discharge laborers, hire teams and purchase mate-
rials, machinery and equipment, with the consent of his district road com-
mittee as hereinafter provided; and he shall have power to sell machinery
and equipment with the consent of his district road committee aa herein-
after provided; and he shall be responsible for all machinery and equip-
ment in his possession. Said supervisor shall be appointed immediately
after the passage of this Act, and shall serve until the first Monday in
April, 1923, at which time the County Commissioners shall annually
appoint the supervisor in each of said road districts, and said district
supervisor shall be appointed upon the written recommendation of the
district road committee in his road district as hereinafter provided; and
shall receive such compensation per day as may be fixed by said district
Toad committee and shall be subject to removal at any time by said Board
of County Commissioners on written charges preferred by said committee
or a majority thereof and after a hearing. That the per diem charge for
all labor and team hire shall be fixed by the district road committee, and
said supervisor shall not employ any labor or hire any teams or other
utensils or equipment at a price in excess of the schedule of prices so
fixed by his district road committee. Should there be established an
additional election district prior to or subsequent to the passage of this
Act and prior to April 1, 1924, then said new district shall be included
with Chillum District, Hyattsville District, Kent District and Seat
Pleasant District, and George A. Gude, the present County Commissioner
or his successor, in case of a vacancy for any cause, shall name the five
district committee-men in said new election district which is hereby de-
clared to be a road district.
For the purpose of this Act, and for the purpose of immediate ap-
pointment of the district road committee in each of the nineteen road
