4054 ARTICLE 17.

districts herein created, the several election districts are combined as
follows:

Nottingham District, Aquasco District, Brandywine District, and Pis-
cataway District, are hereby classified as one district; and William H.
Duval, the present County Commissioner, or his successor, in case of a
vacancy for any cause, shall name the five district road commissioners in
each of the election districts so combined, and as hereinafter provided.
That Oxon Hill District, Surratt's District, Spaulding's District and
Mellwood District, are hereby classified as one district; and Charles A.
Ryon, the present County Commissioner, or his successor, in case of a
vacancy for any cause, shall name the five district road commissioners in
each of the election districts so combined, and as hereinafter provided.
That Chillum District, Hyattsville District, Kent District and Seat
Pleasant District are hereby classified as one district; and George A.
Gude, the present County Commissioner, or his successor, in case of a
vacancy for any cause, shall name the five district road commissioners in
each of the election districts so combined, and as hereinafter provided.
That Vansville District, Riverdale District and Bladensburg District
are hereby classified as one district; and George N. Wells, the present
County Commissioner, or his successor, in case of a vacancy for any cause,
shall name the five district road commissioners in each of the election
districts so combined and as hereinafter provided. That Laurel District,
Bowie District, Queen Anne District and Marlboro District are hereby
classified as one district, and George W. Waters, the present County
Commissioner, or his successor, in case of a vacancy for any cause, shall
name the five district road commissioners in each of the election districts
so combined and as hereinafter provided. That from and after the first
Monday in April, 1924, or from and after the first Monday in April
following the election of a County Commissioner or County Commis-
sioners, provided by any law which may be passed by the Legislature of
1922, changing the present date for the election of County Commis-
sioners, the then County Commissioners shall disregard the district
classification as hereinbefore provided in the naming of said district road
committees, and shall then divide said election districts into such classi-
fications for the naming of district road committees, as may then be equita-
ble, taking in consideration the then residence of the members of the
Board of County Commissioners.

888. The Board of County Commissioners, shall have charge and
custody of the road fund of Prince George's County as hereinafter pro-
vided; and shall meet at least, twice in each month for road purposes.
They shall appoint a road clerk who is to attend such meetings, acting
as secretary, and who shall take charge of and file all papers in connection
with the roads and bridges, and shall keep the account of the road fund of
Prince George's County in accordance with a system of accounting to be
adopted by the Board of County Commissioners, which system of account-
