PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY. 3825

the Chief of Police, wear the prescribed uniform and equipment hereby
authorized. The County Commissioners may in their discretion, furnish
both the sheriff as the Chief of Police and Deputy Sheriff with a motor-
cycle or motor vehicle, in which event he shall likewise receive the sum
of three hundred dollars ($300) as hereinbefore directed to be paid the
Constables at Large, and for the same and only for the same purpose.
That each and every Constable at Large, and so appointed, shall be re-
quired before entering upon the duties of his office, to execute a bond to'
the State of Maryland, to be approved by the County Commissioners, in
the penalty of two thousand dollars ($2,000) conditioned for the faithful
performance of the duties of his office, said bond to be recorded in the
office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County. That
any and all members of said Prince George's County Police may be
required to execute any and all writs or process issued by the Police Justice
of Prince George's County, any Justice of the Peace of Prince George's
County, or the Circuit Court for Prince George's County; and no mem-
ber of said Prince George's County Police shall be permitted to receive,
nor shall he receive, any fee or compensation whatsoever for any service
or services so rendered except as in this Act provided.

335. The County Commissioners are hereby authorized, empowered
and directed to purchase motor vehicles or motorcycles with or without
side cars, in such number, as in their judgment they may think advisable,
for the use of the Prince George's County Police, and said County Com-
missioners from time to time may sell, trade or otherwise dispose of said
motor vehicles or motorcycles, and purchase new ones at any time they may
deem the purchase of new motor vehicles or motorcycles becomes necessary.

336. The County Commissioners are hereby further authorized, em-
powered and directed to levy each and every year such sum or sums of
money as may be necessary and requisite to carry out the intent and pur-
pose of this Act; in addition to such sum or sums of money as is herein
provided for the maintenance of said Prince George's County Police.

337. All fines, penalties and forfeitures of every kind, character and
description for any and all offenses imposed by any Justice of the Peace
the Police Justice, or any Judge of the Circuit Court for Prince George's
County, and collected by any officer authorized to collect the same, shall
within thirty days from the date of its collection, be paid over to the
County Commissioners, and said County Commissioners are hereby au-
thorized, empowered and directed to expend for the maintenance and
up-keep of said police system, and the salaries, and expenses incurred
thereby, any sum or sums of money necessary to better govern and police
the County; provided, however, that the payment over of the fines, penal-
ties and forfeitures to the County Commissioners as herein provided,
