955. The limits of the said town shall be as follows: Beginning at the
intersection of the third line of the District of Columbia with the west line
of the right of way of the Metropolitan Branch of the Baltimore & Ohio
Railroad, and running with west line of said right of way to the point of
intersection with the extension of a line drawn along the center of Chi-
cago Avenue from Boston Avenue to New York Avenue; thence with said
line extended across said right of way of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad
with the center line of said Chicago Avenue to a point opposite the divid-
ing line between lots numbered Seven (7) and Eight (8) in Block num-
bered Sixty-seven (67) of the Takoma Park Loan and Trust Company's
subdivision of Takoma Park; thence with a continuation of the said divid-
ing line through said Block numbered Sixty-seven (67) to the intersec-
tion of said line with Takoma Avenue; thence across Takoma Avenue to
the northwest corner of lot numbered Nine (9) in Block numbered Sev-
enty-one (71) of the Takoma Park Loan and Trust Company's subdi-
vision of Takoma Park; thence with the northeasterly boundary line of
said Block numbered Seventy-one (71) to the intersection of the said line
with Baltimore Avenue; thence across Baltimore Avenue to the north-
west corner of lot number Five (5) in Block number Eighty-one (81)
of the Takoma Park Loan and Trust Company's subdivision of Takoma
Park; thence with the northeasterly line of said lot numbered Five (5)
to the northeast corner thereof; thence across the land of Hodges to the
southeast corner of lot numbered One (1) in Block numbered Sixty-four
(64) of B. F. Gilbert's subdivision of Takoma Park; thence with the
southerly boundary of said lot numbered One (1) to the intersection of
the said boundary with Saratoga Avenue; thence with the southerly bound-
ary of said Saratoga Avenue to its intersection with the easterly side of
Mississippi Avenue; thence along the easterly and northerly line of Mis-
sissippi Avenue to its intersection with Sligo Creek; thence along the
west bank of Sligo Creek to the Blair Road; thence along the south line
of Blair Road to its intersection with Flower Avenue; thence along the
west line of Flower Avenue to a point opposite the north line of B. L.
Palmer's tract of fourteen and one-fourth acres; thence across Flower
Avenue, and with said north line of Palmer's land to his east line; thence
with Palmer's east line to its intersection with Carroll Avenue; thence
straight across Carroll Avenue to the easterly side thereof; thence from
said point along the easterly side of Carroll Avenue to the Bladensburg
Road at John Brown's; thence with the westerly side of said Bladensburg
Road to the land of Jackson; thence southerly with Jackson's land to the
land of Riggs'; thence with the east line of Riggs' thirty-acre wood lot
to John Powell's corner; thence with the dividing line between said John
Powell's land and said thirty-acre wood lot to the west line of said Powell's
land; and thence with the said west line and the west line of George P.
Powell's land to the southwest corner of said George P. Powell's land;
and thence with south line of said George P. Powell's land to the northeast
