shall include all advice regarding criminal law and procedure which he
shall give any justice of the peace of said county; provided, however, that
his actual expenses incurred in following and trying criminal cases re-
moved from said county shall be paid in addition to his salary; and that
all general or local laws inconsistent with the provisions of this subtitle
of this article be and the same are hereby repealed.

950. It shall be the duty of the Sheriff to collect and pay over to the
county commissioners quarterly any appearance or other fee, taxed as part
of the costs payable to the State's Attorney in any criminal case.

SUNDAY HUNTING.*

951. No person shall hunt with a gun, rifle or other instrument for
the killing of game on the Lord's Day, commonly known as Sunday, in
Montgomery county.

952. Any person convicted of violating the preceding section by a
justice of th peace of said Montgomery county shall be subject to a fine
of not exceeding ten dollars and costs, one-half of said fine to be paid to
the informer, whether an officer of the law or other person, and the other
half to the treasurer of said county for the benefit of the public schools
thereof.

953. The carrying on Sunday in said county of a gun, rifle or other
instrument for the killing of game by a person off the premises of which
said person is owner or tenant shall be prima facie evidence of the viola-
tion of section 951 of this subtitle.

954. The inhabitants of that district of country situated partly in
Montgomery County and partly in Prince George's County, in the State
of Maryland, embraced within the limits prescribed in the next succeeding
section, shall be, and continue to be, a body politic and corporate by the
name and style of the "Town of Takoma Park," and by that name "shall
have perpetual succession, sue and be sued, and have and use a common
seal.
