2356 ARTICLE 10.

conviction thereof in the circuit court for said county, shall be fined not
less than twenty dollars nor more than one hundred dollars, or be
imprisoned in the county jail not exceeding thirty days, or until the
payment of said fine and costs; one-half of said fine to be paid to the
County Commissioners, for the use of the public schools of the county,
and the other half to the informer.

VIENNA.

1914, ch. 563., sec. 1.

519. The citizens of the town of Vienna, in Dorchester County, Mary-
land, are hereby created a body corporate, by the name of "The Com-
missioners of Vienna," with all the powers and privileges of a body politic
and corporate, and by said corporate name may have perpetual succes-
sion, sue and be sued and have and use a common seal; and may receive
in trust and control and dispose of for the purposes of said trust and
invest and reinvest any character of property in aid of any charitable pur-
pose or for the relief of the poor and afflicted of the town.

1914, ch. 563, sec. 2.

520. The boundaries of said town shall be as follows: Beginning for
the outlines of the same at the door or mouth of the old brick lime kiln,
standing on the northwest side of the Nanticoke River just above the
railroad bridge at the said town; and from thence runs N. 45° 22' W.
by a straight line to telephone pole No. 748 of the Chesapeake and Poto-
mac Telephone Company, standing on the east side of the county road
leading from Vienna to Ralph's; thence with the east side of said County
Road, in a soiithern direction to the State Road; thence across same to the
rear of the lot of Henry James; thence still in a southern direction with
the rear of the lots of Henry James, Clarence Higgins, George W.
Millard, James A. Higgins, Geo. H. Webb and John W. T. Webb, and far
enough to intersect a straight line drawn from the Nanticoke River divid-
ing the property of William J. Layton and the late James A. Hughes;
thence in an eastern direction with said division line to the Nanticoke
River; and thence with same to the place of beginning, including in
same all wharf property with the improvements.

521. The citizens of Vienna, aforesaid, of twenty-one years and up-
wards, being citizens of the State of Maryland, who have resided in said
town for and during the space of six months immediately preceding any
town election, shall, on the first Monday of May, 1930, and every two
years thereafter on the first Monday in May, elect five Commissioners to
serve for two years and until their successors shall be duly elected and
qualified. Each of such Commissioneri's shall be a resident of said town,
shall have actually resided therein not less than six months next preceding
his or her election, shall continue to reside therein during his or her term
of office, shall be the owner of real estate within said town of Vienna, and
