Bowling Saloons.
1916, ch. 704, sec. 177.
177. Each person, firm or corporation who shall keep a saloon for
the reception of company to play at bowls wherein a fee is charged for
such bowling, shall be deemed to keep a bowling saloon, and every per-
son, firm or corporation who shall keep a bowling saloon, shall before
transacting such business pay for the privilege by first taking out a
license therefor, paying an annual license fee of $20.00 for the first
alley, and the additional sum of $10.00 for each alley exceeding one,
said licenses to be taken out in the City of Baltimore, if such saloons
are located in said city, and if located in the counties, then in each
county in which said saloons may be located.
Storage Warehouses.
1916. ch. 704. sec. 178.
178. Every person, firm or corporation who shall keep for compen-
sation any house for storage or impounding shall pay an annual sum
for said privilege by first taking out a license therefor, if such house
be located in Baltimore City, then in said city, if in the counties, then in
the county in which such house may be located, to be graduated as fol-
lows:
In cities not exceeding 10,000 inhabitants.............. $ 15.00
In cities exceeding 10,000 and not over 20,000 inhabitants.. $ 25.00
In cities exceeding 20,000 and not more than 50,000 inhab-
itants...............................................$ 35.00
In cities exceeding 50,000 inhabitants.................. $ 50.00
Check Rooms.
1916, ch. 704. sec 179.
179. Each person, firm or corporation, conducting a check room in
this State for the deposit of packages and baggage shall pay a privilege
tax for stall purposes, and before doing so, shall first take out a license
therefor, paying an annual license fee as follows:
First. Where the charge for the keep or deposit of any
article is at the rate of 10 cents or more for every twenty-four
hours or fraction thereof of storage, each, per annum........ $ 40.00
Second. Where the charge for the keep or deposit of any
article is at the rate of less than 10 cents for every twenty-
four hours or fraction thereof of storage, each, per annum... $ 20.00
Cleaning, Dyeing and Pressing.

180. Each person, firm or corporation, resident or non-resident con-
ducting the business of cleaning, dyeing and pressing in this State,
