license therefor and shall pay an annual license fee of fifteen hundred
dollars; and every manufacturer or packer who shall furnish, sell or
deliver any such stamps, coupons, tickets, certificates, labels, or other
similar devices with or in connection with the sale of his, her or its own
manufactured or processed products to any other person, firm, associa-
tion or corporation for use as above set out by such other person, firm,
association or corporation, shall, before so doing, take out an annual
license therefor and pay an annual license fee of fifty dollars.

Wholesale Dealers in Farm Machinery.
1916, ch. 704, sec. 174.
174. Every person, firm or corporation, resident or non-resident
dealing in farm machinery at wholesale in this State, whether through
agents or otherwise, shall before doing so, take out a license therefor
for the privilege of conducting such business and paying an annual
license fee of fifty dollars in cities or towns of not more than ten thou-
sand inhabitants; one hundred dollars in cities and towns of more than
ten thousand, and not more than fifty thousand inhabitants; and two
hundred dollars in cities or towns of more than fifty thousand inhabi-
tants.
Soda Water Fountains.
1916, ch. 704, sec. 175
175. Each person, firm or corporation operating a soda fountain in
this State shall before doing so, take out a license therefor for the privi-
lege of conducting such business and paying an annual license fee of
$6.00 for each fountain so operated in the City of Baltimore or in each
county of this State.
Livery Stables.
1916, ch. 704, sec. 176.
176. Every person, firm or corporation, who keeps a stable or stalls
in which horses are kept at livery or fed, or at which horses and
vehicles are hired for compensation shall be deemed to keep a livery
stable, and every such person, firm or corporation in this State, shall
before transacting such business take out a license therefor for the priv-
ilege of conducting such business and paying an annual license fee of
$6.00 for each stable so operated, in the City of Baltimore and in each
county of this State, in which the said livery stable may be located.
Provided, however, this section shall not apply to the keeper of a
licensed ordinary or house of private entertainment who only feeds and
cares for the horses of travelers or guests stopping at such ordinary or
house of private entertainment.
