CHAPTER 612.
AN ACT to authorize the Burgess and Council of Boonsborough
to borrow on its note the sum of twelve hundred ($1,200)
dollars, to be used in completing the erection of the Town
Hall in the town of Boonsborough.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Burgess and Council of Boonsborough be and it
is hereby authorized and empowered to borrow on its promis-
sory note or notes executed by the Burgess and the members
of the Council thereof, a sum not exceeding twelve hundred
($1,200) dollars, to be used and applied by the said Burgess
and Council of Boonsborough for the purpose of completing
the Town Hall of Boonsborough.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Burgess and Council
of Boonsborough be and they are hereby authorized and empow-
ered to levy taxes on the assessable property of the said town,
to provide for the payment of the sum borrowed under the
provisions of this act.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 613.
AN ACT to refund to Mrs. Elizabeth G. Smith a sum of money-
paid in error to the State Treasurer.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer, payable to
Mrs. Elizabeth G. Smith, of New Windsor, Carroll county,
Maryland, for the amount of eighty-five dollars and seventy-
eight cents ($85.78), said amount having paid by her to the
County Treasurer of Carroll county as State tax upon ten
thousand six hundred and sixty dollars ($10,660.00) on per-
sonal property, erroneously assessed against her for the years
1907, 1908, 1909 and 1910.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
