CHAPTER 608.
AN ACT granting to Eleanor Taylor Chandler, her heirs and
assigns the right to construct and maintain two piers or
wharves in the Elk River from and on the front of her lots
of land binding on said river in Cecil county, Maryland.
WHEREAS, Eleanor Taylor Chandler is the owner of a lot of
land in Cecil county fronting on the Elk River, and being
the same lot of land which is described in a deed from
Joseph T. McKenney and wife to her, dated the 12th day
of January, 1912, and recorded in Liber C. K. No. 4, folio
341, and of the Land Record books of said Cecil county;
and,
WHEREAS, The said Eleanor Taylor Chandler is the owner of
another lot of land in Cecil county fronting on Elk River
and being the same lot of land which is described in a
deed from William J. Arrants and wife to her, dated the
12th day of January, 1912, and recorded in Liber C. K. No.
4, folio 343, another of the said Land Record books of said
Cecil county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the right is hereby granted, to the said Eleanor Tay-
lor Chandler, her heirs and assigns to construct and maintain
& pier and wharf on each of the aforesaid lots of land from
and on the front thereof and into the Elk River, to and for
& distance not exceeding one thousand feet, but not to enter
or cross the channel of said river.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 609.
AN ACT to provide for the construction of bridges and the
proper approaches thereto over and across the Patuxent River
between the Counties of Prince George's and Anne Arundel.
Maryland, to connect with any State road or roads leading
to said bridges and to impose additional duties upon the
State Roads Commission.
