education of young men for the Lutheran ministry of the Gen-
eral Synod (recipients to give bond, that in case they fail to
enter the ministry of the General Synod the money shall be
returned to the said trustees of St. Mark's English Evangelical
Lutheran Church of Baltimore); (c) to the devise and bequest
of the rest and residue of the said testatrix's estate to the trus-
tees of St. Mark's English Evangelical Lutheran Church, its
successors and assigns.

2. To the deed of a lot of ground on the northeast side of
Pimlico road from Edgecomb Park Company, a body corporate,
duly incorporated under the laws of the State of Maryland to
Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, of Baltimore City,
a body corporate, duly incorporated under the laws of the State
of Maryland, dated the 15th day of June, 1910, and recorded
among the Land Eecords of Baltimore City in Liber S. C. L.
No. 2589, Folio, 538, and among the Land Records of Balti-
more County in Liber W. P. C. No. 345, Folio 574, and to
the holding of said lot of ground and the sale, mortgage or
other disposition thereof by said church corporation.

3. To the .following gifts and bequests contained in the last
will and testament of Theodore H. Bauer, late of Baltimore
City, in the State of Maryland, deceased, and recorded in the
office of the Register of Wills of Baltimore City in Wills Liber
H. W. J. No. 110, Folio 531.

(a) To the person who may be rector of the Fourteen Holy
Martyrs' Church at the time of my death, which church is now
located at the southeast corner of Lombard and Mount streets,
Baltimore City, Maryland, the sum of two hundred 'dollars
($200) ; (b) To the Benedictine Society of Baltimore City, a
corporation for the use and benefit of the Fourteen Holy
Martyrs' Church, located as above stated, the sum of five hun-
dred dollars ($500); (c) To The St. Joseph's German Hospital
of the City of Baltimore, the sum of one hundred dollars
($100) ; (d) To the Little Sisters of the Poor of Baltimore,
Maryland, the sum of one hundred dollars ($100).

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 503.

AN ACT authorizing and requiring the Board of Police Com-
missioners of Baltimore City to pay to the sergeants assigned
by said board to do clerical duty at police headquarters of
