PHILLIPS LEE GOLDSBOROUGH, ESQ., GOVERNOR. 703

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 697 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1910, entitled "An Act to prohibit the use of
haul seines, drag nets, scrapes, etc., in certain portions of Cox's
Creek and Kent Island Narrows, in Queen Anne's County," be
and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

Approved April 8, 1912.

CHAPTER 502.

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests and devises
contained in the last wills and testaments of certain persons,
late of the State of Maryland, deceased, and also to certain
gifts, grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various persons
in this State, to and for the use and benefit of sundry minis-
terial persons, religious corporations, denominations or sects,
and to certain charitable institutions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted 'by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland, be and the same is hereby declared, given and
granted to the following gifts, bequests, grants, sales, leases and
deeds to and for the use and benefit of certain ministerial per-
sons, religious corporations, denominations or sects, and to cer-
tain charitable institutions as herein set forth.

1. To the following gifts and bequests contained in the last
will and testament of Katharina M. Will, late of Baltimore City,
in the State of Maryland, deceased, and recorded in the office of
the register of wills of Baltimore City, in Wills, Liber H. W. J.
No. 111, Folio 149; (a) to the trustees of St. Mark's English
Evangelical Lutheran Church of Baltimore, five hundred
dollars ($500), in trust, to be used to endow a hospital bed in the
Deaconess Mother House of the General Synod of the Evangel-
ical Lutheran Church, or in the discretion of the said trustees
of St. Mark's English Evangelical Lutheran Church, of Balti-
more, to use the sum for any other object in connection with
the said Deaconess Mother Home of thetGeneral Synod of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church; (b) to the trustees of St. Mark's
English Evangelical Lutheran Church of Baltimore, five hun-
dred dollars ($500), in trust, to be used and applied to the
