702 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [Ch. 501]

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved April 8, 1912.

CHAPTER 500.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the "Stevensville Savings
Bank of Queen Anne's County," a body corporate, having its
principal office and doing business in Queen Anne's county,
Maryland, and to change the name thereof to "The Stevens-
ville Bank of Maryland."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted "by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the name of the "Stevensville Savings Bank of
Queen Anne's County," a corporation duly formed under the
provisions of the Code of Public General Laws of this State,
whose powers were ratified and confirmed, and its charter
amended, enlarged and extended by an act of the General
Assembly of Maryland, at its January Session of 1904, Chapter
218, be and the same is hereby changed from "Stevensville Sav-
ings Bank of Queen Anne's County," to "The Stevensville
Bank of Maryland," and said body corporate, under and by
the name and style of "The Stevensville Bank of Maryland,"
shall have perpetual succession, to sue and to be sued, to plead
and be impleaded in any Court whatever, to make and use a
common seal and alter and renew the same at pleasure, and shall
have all the powers and enjoy all the privileges heretofore had
and enjoyed by the said "Stevensville Savings Bank of Queen
Anne's County," provided, however, that said bank shall be
subject to the provisions of Article II of the Public General
Laws of this State, title "Banks," and any amendments thereof,
and the liability of the stockholders thereof shall at all times
be determined by the laws of the State in force at the time the
said liabilities may attach.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 501.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 697 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1910, entitled "An Act to prohibit
the use of haul seines, drag nets, scrapes, etc., in certain por-
tions of Cox's Creek and Kent Island Narrows, in Queen
Anne's County,"
