any other railroad or railway and to connect or enter into
traffic agreement with any other railroad or railway.
SEC. 14. And be it further enacted, That said company, in
addition to the powers, rights and privileges herein enumerated
is hereby authorized and empowered to supply to the public,
including both individuals and corporations within the county
of Allegany, in the State of Maryland, and the county of
Mineral, in the State of West Virginia, but subject, neverthe-
less, to such rules and conditions as said counties or any munic-
ipalities therein may respectively prescribe; power in the forms
of electric current, and hydraulic, pneumatic and steam pres-
sure, or any of the said power, and in any or all other forms,
for use in driving machinery, and for light, heat and other
uses to which the power so supplied can be made applicable;
and to fix, charge, collect and receive rates and tolls therefor;
and for the purpose of enabling the company to supply power,
as aforesaid, it is further authorized to construct and equip
boilers, engines, machinery, switches, lamps, motors and all
other works, structures and appliarces within the counties afore-
said, but subject, nevertheless, to such reasonable regulations
and conditions as the public authorities therein may require;
and said company is authorized to contract for the said power
from any electric or power company, now incorporated, or
which may hereafter be incorporated, or to buy, sell or con-
solidate with any such electric power company for such.pur-
poses, and to charge and receive reasonable rates therefor.
SEC. 15. And be it enacted, That the president and directors
of said company may borrow from time to time for the cor-
porate purposes of said company, such amounts of money as
they may deem proper and provide for the payment of the same
and interest thereon by the issue of coupon bonds in such
amounts as the board of directors may deem necessary for the
purpose of said railway and its extension, and the equipment
of its power plant for the distribution of light, heat and all
other purposes and uses to which electricity can be made appli-
cable, and to secure the payment of the same by a mortgage
on all or any part of the property, rights, franchises, tolls and
revenues of said company.
SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That all the powers granted
herein and vested in the Westernport and Keyser Electric Rail-
way and Power Company, under this act, shall be subject to
and exercised in accordance with such regulations and control
as may be exercised with respect to the said Westernport and
Keyser Electric Railway and Power Company, by the Public
Service Commission of Maryland, in accordance with the power
