sion in the year 1912, and in every year thereafter shall before
said collectors enter upon the performance of their duties fix the
salary or compensation of each of said tax collectors for the
ensuing year, to be paid by the commissioners and not retained
out of the collections by the collector, which amount so fixed
by said commissioners shall be in full of all compensation of
-every kind to be paid the said collectors for collecting the State
and county taxes so placed in their hands for collection from
year to year, and section 31 of Article 81 of the Code of
Public General Laws so far as the same relates to Allegany
County is hereby repealed, except as hereinbefore provided;
and the salary or compensation shall be upon a commission
basis to be determined by the commissioners; and shall be pay-
able in monthly instalments only on taxes collected and paid
over, one-third of which shall be retained or withheld by the
Commissioners until final settlement by the respective collec-
tors with the said commissioners.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 457.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 2 of
Chapter 514 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1910, entitled "An Act to incorporate the Town of
Mount Rainier, Prince George's county, Maryland."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 2 of Chapter 514 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1910, entitled "An Act to incorpor-
ate the Town of Mount Rainier, Prince George's county, Mary-
land," and to re-enact the same with amendments so as to read
as follows:
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the limits of said town
shall be as follows: Commencing at the intersection of Thirty-
fourth and Grape streets, thence running southwesterly on the
northwestern right-of-way of Grape street, to the western boun-
dary line of Roger's addition to Mount Rainier; thence south-
erly along said district line to the southern right-of-way of the
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad; thence northeasterly with said
right-of-way to the western boundary line of the McCullough
property; thence north with the western boundary line of the
