kins, then treasurer for Queen Anne's county, Maryland,
which said duties had been previously performed by the
sheriff of Queen Anne's county, and which said duties are
to be performed after the expiration of the term of office
for which the said Louis H. Perkins was elected shall have
expired.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County
be and they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to
pay to Louis H. Perkins a sum of money not exceeding the
amount of two hundred dollars ($200.00) for services to be
performed by the said Louis H. Perkins between the first day
of June, in the year 1912, and the final settlement for all State
and county taxes for the year 1911, and the collection of Uncol-
lected taxes due the State of Maryland and Uncollected taxes
due Queen Anne's county for the year 1911 and remaining
unpaid on the first day of June, 1912; said payment shall be
made to the said Louis H. Perkins within thirty days after
he shall have complied with the provisions of Chapter 369 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of the year
1910, and shall have made settlement for all moneys due the
State of Maryland and due Queen Anne's county from taxes
for the year 1911.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect,
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 396.

AN ACT authorizing and empowering the Commissioners of
Sudlersville, a municipal corporation of Queen's Anne's
county, State of Maryland, to erect, own and maintain within
the corporate limits of said municipal corporation a public
hall or building containing rooms wherein the officers of said
corporation can transact the business of said corporation and
house fire apparatus, and a large hall or assembly-room suit-
able for holding public assemblies, lectures, plays or other
entertainments, and to acquire by purchase or condemnation
land within the corporate limits of said corporation upon
which to erect said public hall or building; to issue and sell
