struct or improve the county road forming the unimproved
connecting road way of about nine miles long between the
town of Berlin and Worcester county and the point on the line
between the State of Maryland and Delaware, where the county
road leading from Berlin north to the State of Delaware crosses
said boundary line; or such other point adjacent thereto which
is selected and determined upon for the southern terminus of
the Du Pont Boulevard or Highway, and that the said State
Roads Commission construct the said road in accordance with
the provisions of Article 91 of the Code of Public General Laws
of Maryland, title "Surveyor and State Survey," sub-title "Pub-
lic Roads," and amendments thereto, so far as the same are
applicable to the construction or improvement of said highway.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of
carrying out the provisions of this act, the sum of seventy-five
thousand dollars ($75,000), or so much thereof as may be
necessary, is hereby appropriated to be paid out of the treasury
out of any money not otherwise appropriated, and the Comp-
troller of the Treasury is hereby 'authorized to draw his war-
rant upon the Treasurer for such sum or sums not exceeding
seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000), in the aggregate, as
may be necessary for the construction or improvement of said
highways, upon the certificate of the said State Roads Commis-
sion.

CHAPTER 395.
AN ACT to authorize, empower and direct the County Commis-
sioners of Queen Anne's County, Maryland, to pay to Louis
H. Perkins a sum of money, not exceeding the amount of
two hundred dollars ($200.00), for services to be rendered
between June 1st, in the year 1912, and the final settlement
for all State and county taxes for the year 1911, in order
to enable the said Louis H. Perkins to make collection of
taxes due the State of Maryland and taxes due Queen Anne's
county for the year 1911 and remaining unpaid at the expira-
tion of the term of office of the said Louis H. Perkins as
treasurer for Queen Anne's county, on June 1st, 1912.
WHEREAS, By the terms and provisions of Chapter 369 of the
Acts of General Assembly of Maryland of the year 1910
additional duties were imposed upon the said Louis H. Per-
