556 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [Ch. 394]

Swan Creek, in Harford county, Maryland, from the fifteenth
day of July to the twentieth day of September in each year,
and any person violating the provisions of this act, upon con-
viction before a justice of the peace for Harford county shall
be fined not less than ten dollars nor more than twenty-five
dollars and cost of prosecution, one-half of said fine to be
paid to person or persons making arrest.

SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts incon-
sistent with this act are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 394.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the State Roads Commission
to construct a highway in Worcester county between the
towns of Berlin and the Delaware Line to connect the Mary-
land good roads with the Du Pont Boulevard, and to make an
appropriation therefor.

WHEREAS, T. Coleman Du Pont, a public spirited citizen of the
State of Delaware, has donated and guaranteed large sums
of money for the purpose of building a public highway or
boulevard at his own expense from the northern boundary
of the State of Delaware to the boundary line between Sus-
sex county, Delaware, and Worcester county, Maryland, and
known as the Du Pont Boulevard or Highway; and,

WHEREAS, A corporation has been formed to carry out said
work and due authority given by the General Assembly of
the State of Delaware to said corporation, which was organ-
ized and is financed by the said J. Coleman Du Pont, to
build said public highway or boulevard from north to south
through the State of Delaware and the location of said high-
way or boulevard has been definitely and finally determined
and fixed and the said highway or boulevard is rapidly being
built, and will connect at the north with the improved public
highways of the State of Pennsylvania, leading from Phila-
delphia south to the Delaware-Pennsylvania line, and said
Du Pont Boulevard or Highway will have its southern ter-
minus in Sussex county, Delaware, at the Maryland-Dela-
