payable by the Treasurer of the State upon warrant of the
Comptroller at such times and in such sums as may be author-
ized by the State Board of Health upon presentation of the
proper voucher.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 353.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Baltimore to pay to the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County a portion of certain taxes paid in error
to the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore by Anderson
& Ireland Company on stock of said company owned by
Louis Muller, a resident of Baltimore county, for the years
1906, 1907, 1908, 1909 and 1910, and to refund the balance
of said taxes so paid in error to Louis Muller.

CHAPTER 354.

AN ACT to amend the charter of Ellicott City by adding two
new sections to Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Howard County," sub-title "Ellicott
City," to be known as sections 6lA and 6lB of said Article
14, and to immediately follow section 61.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary
land, That the charter of Ellicott City be and the same is
hereby amended by adding two new sections to Article 14 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Howard
County," sub-title "Ellicott City," to be known as sections
61A and 61B of said Article 14, to immediately follow section
61, and to read as follows:

61 A. The Mayor and City Council may acquire by deed,
will or in any other manner, any land lying within the cor-
porate limits of Ellicott City, for the purpose of creating a
public park or parks, and may appropriate such funds as they
may, in their discretion, deem proper for the laying out, eon-
