486 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [Ch. 338]
CHAPTER 338.

AN ACT making an appropriation to the board of officers of
the Fifth Regiment Infantry, Maryland National Guard, to
refund certain sums advanced by them.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of sixty-six hundred and ninety-seven dol-
lars and eighty-seven cents be and the same is hereby appro-
priated to the board of officers of the Fifth Regiment Infantry,
Maryland National Guard, to refund the following sums
expended by said board of officers for the following purposes:

(1) To refund disbursements by said board of officers for
construction of a rifle range at the Fifth Regiment Armory at
Baltimore, Maryland, the sum of nineteen hundred and ninety-
seven dollars and seventy-seven cents.

(2) To refund disbursements by said board of officers from
October 1, 1906, to December 31, 1911, made out of the regi-
mental funds of said regiment for current expenses of said
regiment and maintenance of said armory over and above the
allotment of State funds made by the adjutent general out of
the appropriation for said years, the sum of thirty-two hundred
dollars and ten cents.

(3) To refund the sum of fifteen hundred dollars advanced
by said board of officers out of regimental funds in anticipation
of an appropriation by the State of Maryland of said amount
towards the expenses of the trip of said regiment to Atlanta,
Georgia, in accordance with recommendation of Hon. Austin
L. Crothers, late Governor of the State of Maryland, the sum
of fifteen hundred dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That upon the andit of said
accounts and each of them by the adjutant general and his
certificate that said sums or any portion or portions of them
have been disbursed by said board of officers out of regimental
funds for the purposes aforesaid, the treasurer on the warrant
of the Comptroller, shall repay the sums hereby appropriated or
any portion or portions of them so certified for the object and
purpose herein specified to the said board of officers of the
Fifth Regiment Infantry, Maryland National Guard.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the appropriation under
this act shall be available October 1, 1912.
