and wife to Second Church of Christ, Scientist, of Baltimore
City, and its successors and assigns, said deed being of record
among the Land Records of Baltimore City, in Liber K. O. No.
2273, folio 252, etc, and dated September 20, 1906, and to the
holding of same under said deed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 143.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Vestry of Christ Church
in the City of Baltimore, to receive and hold an endowment
fund and to invest and reinvest the same, and to declare the
sanction and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland
to gifts and grants heretofore made and hereafter to be made
to such fund.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Vestry of Christ Church in the City of Balti-
more, be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to receive
and hold an endowment fund for the benefit of said church, and
to invest and reinvest the same from time to time; provided,
that the clear annual income of said fund shall not exceed the
sum of ten thousand dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the sanction and consent of
the General Assembly of Maryland be and the same are hereby
given, granted and declared to certain gifts to said vestry of
money for said endowment fund heretofore made of the aggre-
gate value of one hundred dollars or thereabouts, and to like
gifts, grants, devises and bequests hereafter to be made to said
fund, but within the limits fixed by the first section hereof;
with full power to said vestry of holding, selling, leasing, assign-
ing, releasing, conveying or otherwise disposing of any and all
property acquired under the provisions of this act.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
