PHILLIPS LEE GOLDSBOROUGH, ESQ., GOVERNOR. 1655

Episcopal Church; thence in a northeasterly direction by and
with said county road from the Piisey and Gordy corner, cross-
ing the railroad at Rock-a-Walkin station to the State road;
thence in an easterly direction by and with said State road to
the point or place of beginning.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all persons now residing
within the limits of the aforesaid new election district who are
registered voters of the parts of districts, number one or Bar-
ren Creek, number two or Quantico, number nine or Salisbury,
and number eleven or Delmar, from which is constituted the
said new election district number fifteen or Hebron, shall be
entitled to register in the said new district upon presenting to
the register thereof their certificate of transfer from the district
in which they previously resided as is now provided by law,
or whose names are transferred to the registration book for
the new district as hereinafter provided, and all persons that
reside within the limits of the new district aforesaid and qual-
ified to register shall be entitled to register and vote in said
new district, and it shall be the duty of the supervisors of elec-
tion of Wicomico county to provide the proper registration
books for the new district, and have transcribed before the
first sitting for the registration of voters in the year 1912
all qualified voters residing in the new district, and give the
same to the registers of voters in said new district.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the Governor of Maryland
shall at once, on the passage of this act, appoint one justice
of 'the peace for said new district, who shall have and exercise
all the powers and functions of a justice of the peace of Wicom-
ico county, and serve until his successor is duly appointed and
qualified, as is now provided by law.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the County Commission-
ers of Wicomico county and the supervisors of election in said
county are hereby authorized and directed to appoint the neces-
sary registration officers, judges and clerks of elections and
make all necessary provisions for the registering and voting in
said new district as they are now required by law for elec-
tion districts of Wicomico county, and the County Commis-
sioners of said county shall appoint one constable for said new
district and one annually thereafter as his successor, or when
constables are appointed in the other districts of said county,
and the said constables shall have and exercise all the powers
and functions as a constable of Wicomico county, and shall
give bonds and qualify as constables are now required by law,
and the County Commissioners of Wicomico Country aforesaid
shall cause the assessable property in said new district to be
