entitled "Banks and Trust Companies," or of any other general
laws applicable to corporations similar to that named in this
act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 774.

AN ACT to require any person or persons residing in Wicomico
County, to take out a license before engaging in the catching
of crabs with trot lines in the waters of said county, provid-
ing for the issuance of said license, the receipts thereof to be
applied to the building and support of the public schools of
said county; to prohibit others than residents of said Wicom-
ico County from catching any crabs with trot lines therein,
and providing penalties for the violation of any of the pro
visions of this act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful for any citizen of Wicomico
County to take or catch crabs with trot lines in any of the
waters of Wicomico County before first obtaining a license from
the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the said county, and such
license shall have effect until the first day of May next ensuing
the date of the issuance of same; provided, that boys under
ten (10) years of age shall not be required to take out license;
providing, nothing in this act shall prevent the citizens of
Wicomico and Dorchester Counties from using the waters of
Nanticoke River in common nor the citizens of Wicomico and
Somerset Counties from using the waters of the Wicomico River
in common.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That every license issued in con-
formity with the provisions of section 1 of this act shall the
name, color and residence of the person to whom the license is
to be granted, the number thereof, and every applicant for such
license shall pay to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Wicomico
County, when such license may be granted, and before the issu-
ance and delivery of same, the sum of seventy-five cents ($.75)
for each license, and the said clerk shall also receive from each
applicant the sum of twenty-five cents ($0.25), as a fee for
issuing the same, including the costs of administering the oath,
which oath shall be administered by said clerk. The money to
