1176 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [Ch. 718]

late of the State of Maryland, deceased, and also to certain
gifts, grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various persons
in this State to and for the use and benefit of sundry minis-
terial persons, religious corporations, denominations or sects,
and to certain charitable institutions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same are hereby declared, given and
granted to the following gifts; bequests, devises, grants, sales,
leases and deeds to and for the use and benefit of certain min-
isterial persons, religious corporations, denominations or sects,
and to certain charitable institutions as herein set forth.

1. To the bequest of $1,000.00 to the Vestry of St. John's
Parish or Church at Kingsville, Baltimore county, Maryland
(correct title "The Vestry of St. John's Parish in Baltimore
and Harford Counties"), and to the bequest of $1,000.00 to the
Associate Congregational Church (located at the northwest cor-
ner of Maryland avenue and Preston street) (correct title
"Associate Reformed Congregation of Baltimore"), as contained
in the last will and testament of John King, said will being
recorded in the office of the Register of Wills of Baltimore City
in Wills, Liber H. W. J. No. 107, folio 506.

2. To the bequest of $200.00 by the will of Ellen G. Ander-
son to the Vestry of St. John's Church of Hagerstown, Mary-
land, to be by said Vestry invested and the interest applied for
keeping the graveyard of St. John's Church in order, as con-
tained in said will, being recorded in the office of the Register
of Wills of Baltimore City in Wills, Liber B. E. S. and H.
W. J. No. 105, folio 516. *

3. To the bequest of $5,000.00 as contained in the last will
and testament of Mary E. Burns to the Vestry of Emmanuel
Church, Baltimore, correct title "The Vestry of Emmanuel
Church, Baltimore," in loving memory of Ella B. Beatson, her
deceased daughter, for the work of the Mothers' Mission of
that church, said will being recorded in the office of the Reg-
ister of Wills of Baltimore City in Wills, Liber H. W. J. No.
108, folio 443.

4. To the bequest of $5,000.00 as contained in the last will
and testament of Pamelia B. Raine, late of Baltimore City,
deceased, to the Vestry of Christ Church, Rock Spring, Har-
ford county, Maryland.
