CHAPTER 675.
AN ACT to appropriate a certain sum of money to William A.
Miller, Register of Wills of Prince George's County, Mary-
land, to repay him for certain attorney's fees paid for serv-
ices rendered the State of Maryland in the matter of the col-
lection of certain collateral inheritance taxes due the State.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the Treas-
urer of the State in favor of William A. Miller, Register of
Wills of Prince George's County, in the sum of two hundred
dollars ($200), being the amount paid by said Register of Wills
to Joseph K. Roberts, T. Van Clagett and George B. Merrick,
attorneys-at-law, for their services in representing the State of
Maryland in the collection of certain collateral inheritance
taxes due by the estate of James T. Woodward, deceased, and
Howard C. Wall, deceased, said estates being administered' in
the Orphans' Court for Prince George's County.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 676.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 1 of
the Acts of 1904, Chapter 409 of the General Assembly of
Maryland.

'CHAPTER 677.
AN ACT to add an additional section to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County," to be
known under a new sub-title of "Frand on livery stable
keepers or owners of horses," and providing for the punish-
ment of persons hiring horses or vehicles from livery stable
keepers or owners of horses in Frederick county to go a cer-
tain distance and using said horses or vehicle for greater dis-
tances.
