SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 384A of Article 3 of the Code of Public,
Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Baltimore County," as
enacted by the provision of Chapter 26 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of 1910, be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to read as
follows:
384A. The State's attorney for Baltimore county is hereby
authorized and empowered to appoint a clerk, at a compensa-
tion of sixty dollars per month, to be paid by the County Com-
missioners of Baltimore County, which said clerk shall per-
form such clerical work in the said State's attorney's office and
such other work as he may be directed by the said State's
Attorney.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 674.
AN ACT to refund to W. Lake Eobinson, of Dorchester county,
Maryland, a sum of money erroneously paid into the State
Treasury.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon the Treas-
urer of Maryland in favor of W. Lake Robinson, of Dorchester
county, Maryland, for the sum of forty-seven dollars and fifty
cents, being the amount erroneously paid into the State Treas-
ury by the said W. Lake Robinson, as Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Dorchester County, and accounted for in his official
quarterly report, dated June first, nineteen hundred and ten,
the same having received the recommendation of the Treasury
officials.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
