CHAPTER 671.
AN ACT to authorize the Governor of the State of Maryland to

appoint five additional female notaries public for Baltimore
county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Governor of the State of Maryland be and he is
hereby authorized to appoint for Baltimore county five female
notaries public in addition to the. number now authorized by
law.

SEC. . 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 8, 1912.

CHAPTER 672.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments section "60 of
Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of
Maryland, title "Baltimore County," and to add additional
sections to said Article, to follow immediately after section
60 of said article, said amended and additional sections to bo
known as sections 60, 60A, 60B, 60C, 60D, the whole to
provide for the recording and preservation of plats in the
office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 60 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of the State of Maryland, as enacted by Chapter 495 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1908, title
"Baltimore County," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, and the following additional sec-
tions are added to said article, to follow immediately after sec-
tion 60 aforesaid, said amended and additional sections to be
known as section 60, 60A, 60B, 60C, 60D, and to read as fol-
lows:

SEC. 60. No plat shall be received for record by the Clerk
of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, unless the same is
drawn in ink, printed or lithographed, upon tracing cloth or
linen or paper backed with linen not exceed in dimension 36
inches in length by 34 inches in width.

SEC. 60A. It shall be the duty of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Baltimore County to record all plats left with him
to be recorded by transcribing and copying the same in books
