her young whelps or kill or in any manner cause the death of
such female fox or her young whelps during the period of time
in which she is sucking them shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction before a justice of the peace shall be fined
not less than twenty-five dollars nor more than fifty dollars for
every female fox or whelp so dug or taken out of any den, or
killed or caused to be killed, and shall stand committed until
such fine and costs are paid, one-half of such fine to be paid to
the informer, the other half to be paid to the Board of County
School Commissioners of said county for the use of the public
schools of said county.
SEC. 130B. And be it enacted. That it shall not be lawful
for any person to hunt or kill or chase with dogs any fox in
said county from the first day of March to the fifteenth day of
October in each and every year, and any person violating this
section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof before a justice of the peace shall be fined a sum not
less than ten dollars and not more than twenty-five dollars for
each and every offense, and stand committed till the fine and
costs are paid, the said fine to be disposed of as in the pre-
ceding sections. Nothing in this act to be construed to pre-
vent the killing of foxes at any time by any person while they
are in pursuit of his or her poultry; provided, however, that the
killing of said foxes be done within a reasonable time after such
pursuit or the killing of such poultry.
SEC. 130C. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts
inconsistent with this act are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 670.
AN ACT to repeal section 745D of Article 4 of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws of Maryland, entitled "City of Baltimore,"
sub-title "Police Commissioners," as enacted by Chapter 16
of the Acts of 1900, as amended by Chapter 517 of the Acts
of 1910, and to repeal section 745F of Article 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "City of Balti-
more," sub-title "Police Commissioners," as enacted by Chap-
ter 16 of the Acts of 1900, and to re-enact the said section
745D and 745F with amendments.
