PHILLIPS LEE GOLDSBOROUGH, ESQ., GOVERNOR. 1021

SEC. 5. And, be it, enacted, That the said Supervisors of
Election shall publish in some newpaper of general circulation
in Prince George's county at least two weeks before the first
session of the registers of voters of Prince George's county a
list of all names erased from the old registries and inscribed
on the new, so that any person whose name has been improp-
erly erased from the old registries and inscribed in the new,
may have ample opportunity to appear before the .registers of
voters at their sessions and have the proper corrections made.

SEO. 6. And be it enacted, That the Governor of the State
of Maryland and the County Commissioners of Prince George's
County are authorized and empowered, respectively, to make
appointments of justices of the peace and constables for said
new election district as are now authorized' by law for the other
election districts of Prince George's county.

SEC, 7. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 669.

AN ACT to repeal section 130 of Article 20 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland, title "Somerset County," sub-
title "Foxes," and to re-enact the same with amendments and
additions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section 130 of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Somerset County," sub-title "Foxes,"'
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments and additions, so as to read as follows:

SEC. 130. And be it enacted, That any person or persons
who shall shoot at or shoot a fox that is being pursued by a dog
or dogs in the limits of Somerset county shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before a justice of
the peace shall be fined not less than twenty nor more than
fifty dollars for each fox so shot at or killed, and stand com-
mitted until the fine and costs are paid, one-half of such fine
to be paid to the informer, the other half to the Board of
County School Commissioners of said county for the use of
the public schools of said county.

SEC. 130A. And be it enacted, That any person who shall
dig out or in any manner take from any den a female fox or
