The other items contained in said table with the above, make
an aggregate of $470,148.87, being somewhat less than the
aggregate of 1876.

FROM REGISTERS OF WILLS.

The receipts from Registers of Wills are given in detail, in
table "No. 2," amounting to $99,438.08, which is less than
the receipts from the same source in 1876, by the sum of
$42,962.10.

FROM COLLECTORS.

Table "No. 3" shows in detail the amounts paid into the
Treasury by Collectors of State taxes during the fiscal year,
making an aggregate of $810,414.85. This aggregate is
larger than that of 1876, by the sum of $64,498.48, and is
considerably larger than the aggregate of receipts from col-
lectors in any former year.

FROM LICENSES TO AUCTIONEERS.

Table "No. 4," shows the receipts into the Treasury,
during the fiscal year, from Licenses to Auctioneers in the
City of Baltimore, amounting iu the aggregate to $7,000.00,
and from State licenses to Express and Telegraph Companies,
amounting to $600.00, the total in said table being $7,600.00.

GROSS RECEIPTS OF RAILROAD COMPANIES.

Table "No. 5" shows in detail the amounts received from
State Tax on the gross receipts of Railroad Companies,
amounting in the aggregate to $25,596.50. The amount of
interest paid into the Treasury on such taxes, was $2,498.89.

STATE TAX ON THE PUBLIC DEBT OF THE STATE AND CITY OF

BALTIMORE,

The revenue from the State Tax on the taxable Public
Debt of the State, and of the City of Baltimore, is given in
table "No. 6," amounting to $47,760.06.

STATE TAX ON THE SHARES OF STOCK OF INCORPORATED

INSTITUTIONS.

Table "No. 7" exhibits in detail, the State Tax on shares
of capital stock of Incorporated Institutions received into the
Treasury daring the fiscal year, amounting to the aggregate
of $73,320.51.
