Passed Feb. 9, 1836

An act to divorce Ezekiel F. Chambers from his wife

 

Sarah G. Chambers,

Divorce

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That the marriage contract heretofore had

 

and solemnized between Ezekiel F. Chambers and

 

Sarah G, Chambers, his wife, of Kent county, be and

 

the same is hereby declared to be henceforth and forever

 

null and void, and the said parties are hereby declared

 

to be divorced a vinculo matrimonii.

Deeds reserved in

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act

force

contained, shall be construed to impair or in any man-

 

ner to affect a certain Deed, purporting to be a Deed of

 

trust heretofore executed by the said Ezekiel F. Cham-

 

bers and Sarah G. Chambers, to one John B. Eccle-

 

ston, or any of the covenants, agreements, limitations

 

and provisions thereof, or in any manner to repeal or

 

affect a certain act of Assembly of this State, passed

 

at the present session, entitled, an act to confirm a

 

deed therein mentioned.

 

CHAPTER 88.

Passed Feb 11, 1836

An act to divorce Henrietta M. Ferguson, of Cecil coun-

 

ty, from her husband William Ferguson.

Divorce

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, That the marriage contract heretofore

 

had and solemnized between Henrietta M. Ferguson,

 

of Cecil county, and her husband William Ferguson,

 

be and the same is hereby declared to be henceforth

 

and forever null and void, and that the said parties be

 

and they are hereby divorced a vinculo matrimonii.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That nothing in this act con-

firmed

tained, shall be construed to impair or affect the rights

 

and benefits conferred on the said Henrietta M. Fer-

 

guson and her son John Edward Ferguson, by the last
