THOMAS W. VEAZEY, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR.

1835.

S. Pigman, acting as Trustee, under a decree of the

CHAP. 86.

Chancery Court of Maryland, bearing date seventh

 

day of January, in the year eighteen hundred and

 

seventeen, to Richard Coale, in his life time, bearing

 

date the twenty-second day of January, eighteen hun-

 

dred and twenty-three, and recorded in Liber J. S.

 

No. 17, Folio 253, one of the land record books of

 

Frederick county aforesaid, shall be and the same is

 

hereby made valid and confirmed; and that the same

 

deed shall be taken and avail to have the same force,

 

effect and operation in law, and in all courts of law and

 

equity as if the said Richard Coale, in his life time,

 

had been duly substituted as the purchaser of said real

 

estate, by order of the said court, made previous to the

 

execution and delivery of such conveyance, and as if

 

such conveyance had been afterwards made in pursu-

 

ance of said previous order, and in express compliance

 

with a decree of the said court to authorise the same.

Recitals not to

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the recitals in said

invalidate

deed shall not, nor shall any of them operate to invali-

 

date or contravene the provisions of the aforegoing

 

section.

 

CHAPTER 86.

 

An act to change the name of Goodloe Street in Balti-

Passed Feb. 8, 1836

more.

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

Name changed

That the street in the city of Baltimore, from Cove

 

street westward, now called Goodloe street, shall be

 

called and known by the name of West Lombard street,

 

instead of Goodloe street; Provided however, that this

Proviso

act shall not go into effect until the same be approved

 

by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore.
