A supplement to the act, entitled, an act to incorporate

WHEREAS, the Patapsco Insurance Company, has

be further continued to enable said corporation to wind

 

up and settle its concerns: — Therefore.

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That the act passed at December session of the year

 

eighteen hundred and thirteen, entitled, an act to in-

 

corporate the Patapsco Insurance Company, be, and

 

the same is hereby continued, and shall be and remain

 

in full force until the first day of February eighteen

 

hundred and forty-one, and until the end of the ses-

 

sion of the General Assembly, which shall be next

 

thereafter, Provided nevertheless, that nothing herein

contained shall be construed to aathorise said corpora-

 

tion, to make insurances on vessels or merchandise, at

 

sea or going to sea, or upon any goods, wares, or

 

merchandise, freights, or other property going or gone

 

by land or water, or to lend money on bottomry or

 

respondentia.

 

CHAPTER 83,

 

A supplement to the act, entitled, an act to provide for
