Passed Feb.18, 1836

An act for the benefit of Thomas E. Cross, of Anne

 

Arundel county.

Levy $450

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That the commissioners for Anne Arundel county, be

 

and they are hereby authorsed and required to levy

 

on the assessable property of said county, the sum of

 

four hundred and fifty dollars for opening and making

 

a road from the Severn Bridge, to the Annapolis and

 

Baltimore road, which sum when so levied, shall be

 

collected as other county charges are.

 

CHAPTER 70.

Passed Feb. 20,1833

An act, to divorce Elizabeth Gibson, of the city of Balti-

 

more, from her husband John Gibson.

Divorce

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

 

That the marriage heretofore solemnized between

 

Elizabeth Gibson of the city of Baltimore and John

 

Gibson, be, and the same is hereby declared to be null

 

and void, to all intents and purposes, and that the said

 

Elizabeth Gibson, and said John Gibson, be and they

 

are divorced a vinculo matrimonii,

An act in behalf of John Gregg, James Gregg, and An-

 

drew A. Gregg, the children and heirs of Thomas

 

Gregg, late of the city of Baltimore, deceased.

Preamble

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-

 

bly on behalf of John Gregg, James Gregg and Andrew

 

A. Gregg, the children and heirs of Thomas Gregg,

 

late of the city of Baltimore, deceased, that their father

 

being a subject of Great Britain, came to the State of

 

Maryland with an intention permanently to reside

 

therein, about the year eighteen hundred and fifteen,

 

and did accordingly remain in the said State until the
